Translation of the Spanish text

This is a full translation of version 1.3 of the Cookie Policy, provided for convenience; the binding text is the Spanish one, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Transparent Summary

What is stored in your browser when you visit this website or use the web version of the application, for what purpose, for how long and how to change your choice. Technical cookies and storage, which do not require consent, are used, together with a statistics identifier that is stored only if you accept it. There are no advertising or third-party cookies.

1. What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it, to remember something between one page and the next. Local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB and similar) serves a similar function without being sent to the server with every request. This policy treats both alike, because the law does too (Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE).

2. What is stored when you visit this website

Everything that is stored is first-party. The technical elements, which are necessary for the website to work and be secure, are exempt from consent, but you are informed about them all the same. The statistics identifier (wlt_vid) is stored only if you accept it:

You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences", at the foot of every page.

Visit measurement

To know how many visits the website receives, which pages are viewed and where visitors come from, each page notifies our own server that it has been viewed, with the page, the language and the country chosen on the website, the site you come from (its domain only), the campaign parameters of the link (utm_*), whether you use a mobile phone, a tablet or a computer, and certain clicks, such as those that lead to requesting a demonstration. This measurement stores nothing in your browser except the statistics identifier, and only if you accept it.

The approximate country, region and city are deduced from your IP address at that moment, using a database installed on our servers, and the IP is not stored. To count the distinct people each day, an irreversible fingerprint is used that changes daily and does not allow you to be recognised on another day. The data is deleted after 400 days. 3. What is stored if you use the web version of the application

The WorkLogTracker application also works in the browser, at /app/. When you use it, it stores in your browser what is essential to provide the service you have requested, also technical and first-party:

The logged-in session (local storage), so that you do not have to identify yourself on every visit. It is deleted when you log out.
A local database (IndexedDB or OPFS, depending on the browser) with the clock-ins and reports pending to be sent and the workplaces, so that you can clock in offline.
Your preferences (local storage): language, selected company, company logo for documents and, if you arrived through a sales agent's invitation, their code, to fill it in when creating the company.

None of this is used for analytics or advertising, nor is it shared with third parties.

4. Analytics and third-party cookies

Apart from the first-party statistics identifier in section 2, which is stored only with your consent, the website does not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and no third-party cookie is installed.

The website is also prepared to measure visits with Google Analytics 4, but that measurement is switched off. If it were activated, it would be loaded only after you click "Accept all" in the cookie notice, never before, and this policy would be updated with the detail of each cookie, its owner, its duration and its possible international transfers.

5. How to change your choice and manage cookies

The cookie notice appears on your first visit, with two equally visible buttons, and your choice is stored in your browser for 13 months; after that time you are asked again. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time from "Cookie preferences", at the foot of every page; if you choose "Necessary only", the statistics identifier is deleted. You can also delete this site's data in your browser and the notice will appear again.

Each time you choose, we store a receipt so that we can demonstrate what you chose: the choice, the date, the version of this policy and a random number known only to your browser. It does not include your IP or any data that identifies you, and it is kept for three years.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you block the technical ones, the website's forms and the web version of the application may stop working.

6. Your rights and changes to this policy

With regard to the personal data that may be associated with these cookies, you have the rights explained in the privacy policy.

This policy is updated each time what the website stores in your browser changes. The version and the date it takes effect appear at the top of the page.
