Labor Time Tracking

Time tracking with traceability
and a history of every change.

The working-time record cannot be a tamperable spreadsheet. With WorkLogTracker each record is immutable, location is verified only at the moment of clocking in, and the month closes with the official template required by Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho (ACT).

Why WorkLogTracker holds up in a labor inspection

Any app lets you press a button. What Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho (ACT) evaluates is data accuracy, immutability, and custody.

Tamper-proof Records

No user, not even the business owner, can alter or delete an existing clock-in. This eliminates any accusation of fraud or falsification.

Point-in-time geofence check when clocking in

Verifies whether the employee is physically at the assigned workplace or construction site when clocking in or out. Designed to respect the GDPR and the CNPD guidelines (point-in-time geolocation only when clocking in or out).

Works offline

Clock in within basements, metal structures, or rural areas without cellular signal. Data is encrypted on device and synced as soon as network returns.

Missed Clocks & Incident Handling

Did someone forget to clock out? The worker requests a correction stating the justified reason and the manager authorizes it. Both events are indelibly logged.

Flexible Schedules & Shifts

Configure continuous, split, rotating, and night shifts. Apply entry/exit grace periods to prevent unwarranted overtime.

Missed clock-ins are justified, not rewritten

When an employee forgets to clock out at the end of their shift or arrives late due to an unexpected problem on the road, WorkLogTracker does not allow deleting records or overwriting database entries.

The worker requests a correction stating the actual reason. The manager receives an alert and approves or rejects it. In any inspection, you can prove exactly what occurred, when it was requested, and who validated it.

Questions About Time Tracking

Legal and Technical Time Tracking FAQs

Does this work as a working-time record for the ACT?

Yes, that is what it is designed for. Article 202 of the Código do Trabalho requires a record of working time showing start and end times and breaks, accessible at the workplace and kept for five years. WorkLogTracker records each person's working hours, the record cannot be modified or deleted afterwards, and it can be downloaded as a monthly record. What no software can do for you is clock in: each worker has to do that.

Do you track where my team is at all times?

Absolutely not. There is no continuous tracking, background monitoring, or permanent tracking map. Geolocation is checked only at the split second when the employee taps to clock in or out, with the sole purpose of verifying whether they are within the radius of the assigned workplace. If location permission is not granted, the clock-in is still recorded, and this is noted.

What happens if an employee forgets to clock out?

The system prevents altering original timestamps retroactively. Instead, an incident is created: the employee submits a correction with a justified explanation, and a supervisor approves or denies it. This indelibly documents the logged time, requested adjustment, and authorizer: a history you can show during an inspection.
